DR GRETE ELLIS
Dr. Gete Ellis is a skilled medical professional with extensive training and experience in various medical disciplines. She holds a Diploma in Anaesthesiology from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (2024) and has completed multiple specialized courses, including Basic Assessment in Intensive Care (ICU) from the University of Cape Town (2022) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support through Claassen and Claassen Training in Bloemfontein (2022). Dr. Ellis is also certified in Safe Obstetric Anaesthesia, Echocardiogram Interpretation (Level 1), and has training in Palliative Care. Her foundational education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Free State (2020).
Dr. Ellis has developed specialized skills in general medicine, anesthesia, surgical assistance, and casualty care. Her practical experience spans roles as a GP locum in various medical centers, surgical assistance to specialists in orthopedics and general surgery, and casualty work at Mediclinic Potchefstroom. Her exposure includes diverse surgical fields, such as general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology, ophthalmic, ENT, maxillofacial, neurosurgery, and neonatal surgery, underscoring her versatility and depth of medical expertise.
